It seems most people think we should tend towards a slimmer install and that will create a proper contrast between our project and Lubuntu. This is what I propose:

Packages to include:
LXDE (Some customization)
GDM
Web Broswer
Instant Messenger
Music Player
PDF viewer
Network management
Artwork
Perhaps a document program

But this could be it. It should be extremely lightweight. What do you think? Which programs should be included?

I would make the following as an initial proposal:

Web Browser - Firefox or Epiphany
Instant Messenger - Pidgin
Music Player - Aqualung

I am sure everyone is wondering why there have not been any major updates to U-lite 0.9 and those questions are more than reasonable. I hope to take this opportunity to clear these matters up as simply as possible.

I proudly announce that U-lite Linux Project is now officially a Nonprofit Corporation that was incorporated in the State of Missouri. In the future, official 501 (c)(3) determination will be sought. I would like to share the official certification certificate with you. A page will soon be created to store information about the U-lite Linux Project.
